Mariposa at Hunter Road

THE SECURITY HERE IS A JOKE JUST LIKE THE WOMEN WORKING IN THE FRONT OFFICE ARE. I am a young woman who was GROPED by a male who seemed to be in his late 20-30’s, while waiting for the elevators so I can deliver food. I yelled at the guy and loud enough for help, and all I got from the lady who was working in the front there was a “he has a mental disability, don’t yell at him like that” THAT DOES NOT JUSTIFY HIS ACTIONS. SEXUAL ASSAULT SHOULD NEVER BE DEFENDED!!!! THERE ARE NO EXCUSES FOR HIS BEHAVIOR. To make matters worse, as I walked back to the elevator after the guy left the building, I could hear other WOMEN talking loudly about how I made a “big deal” and how I “overreacted.” It is HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING to hear those words from a group of WOMEN, who instead should protect each other

This place changes management like people change socks and each time it gets worse. Residents are not allowed to go into the office without an appointment. Making an appointment is near impossible when the phone is hardly ever answered. Leaving a message is useless because getting a call back either never happens or takes days. Horrible, rude, dismissive, condescending treatment is what you get here from the management! We were promised new appliances 2 years ago...never happened! We were promised new carpet in the hallways a year ago...never happened! I could go on and on! Don't move here!

I love this place so much that I recently moved back a second time, after having to move away for a brief period for family matters!! There are many reasons that Mariposa is such a wonderful place to live. It starts with the warmth that you feel from the staff upon your first visit and how welcoming and accommodating they continue to be on a daily basis. I truly feel as though I  have found a home here at Mariposa. I love my apartment and the beautiful views I have from my balcony of the Texas Hill country. The living areas are spacious and my guests are always commenting on the extra room in the over-sized bathroom and walk in closet. There are also many great amenities here that I enjoy the use of as often as possible, such as the beautiful swimming pool & well equipped fitness center

My husband and I have lived at Mariposa for three years and it has been a very pleasant and rewarding experience. The staff is helpful any way, any time that they possibly are able. The facility is a very beautiful place to live. It has so many amenities to offer. It is between San Antonio and Austin so we have 2 international airports to choose if you want to take a trip. Our daughter found Mariposa for us. My husband took some convincing and now he sings its praises to our friends.Our windows look out on the peach orchard and to the side the swimming pool. It puts us in a good mood for the whole day. There are friendly and helpful residents everywhere one looks. Truly a great place to call home!

I cannot say enough good things about Mariposa. We moved my father in there after a stroke left him handicapped, and were incredibly nervous to leave him living on his own for the first time. The staff REALLY cares about their residents. The maintenance team (Jose & Shaun) check in on him regularly, and go above and beyond to ensure that he is comfortable. The front office team are incredible as well - shout out to Suki. They do all that they can do make sure that everything is taken care of and that he has everything he needs. Everyone that works there is so nice, has a great attitude, and really, genuinely cares about their residents. They host activities - movie nights, game nights, lunches, etc. for the residents.
