Mariners Green Apartments

Issues I’ve had since moving in less than 2 months ago. Upon move in, the ac, water heater, and sink in the bathroom didn’t work in the apartment. After fixing, the ac went out an additional two times. The microwave door was cracked and is chipping away, but was told to just ignore it. There was a hole above the light in the ceiling. The ac vents were black. Nothing was thoroughly cleaned. Last night, I found an empty Capri Sun and dog food under the washer. The outlets in the bathrooms don’t work unless the lights are on, so don’t plan on using any nightlights. The master bedroom window doesn’t lock. Gabriel in maintenance has made my experience incredible. He is one of the friendliest and most helpful people I have ever encountered in my life. Any issue no matter how small he has fixed promptly, even stopping my boyfriend and I on a walk with our dogs to follow up on things and check if there was anything else we needed done. So thankful to have someone in the community that is so friendly and dependable!

There was some bumps here and there but they did get it corrected. People started cleaning up after their pets (or that person has moved).

I am very pleased to say that I’m a resident of Mariners Green Apartments in Newport News. This community is a wonderful place to live and the Management and Service Staff are the best! Today, I had service worked performed by Gabriel. their Service Technician. As usual, he came with a smile on his face and an upbeat attitude. He quickly performed the repair in our full bath and then tackled the issues with my alarm system. He worked diligently to determine where the problem was with 2 of the sensors, changed batteries, relocated the sensors, all of which are aged, and decided that the alarm service company needed to be consulted. We have lived here for 8 years and hands down Gabriel is the best maintenance person we've ever had. He's always pleasant and respectful. He thoroughly explains the issues. He's definitely an asset to this apartment complex.
