Living at Marine Club Apartments was an absolute nightmare, and the leasing office staff—especially Jennifer Rapel and James—made everything ten times worse. I originally signed the lease with my ex. When he moved out, we BOTH went to the leasing office in person. He even provided written documentation stating he was leaving and would not be on the lease anymore. Jennifer looked me straight in the face and told me I “qualified on my own” and that I was “all good.” I trusted her. BIG mistake. Later on, I found out none of it was handled correctly. Their sloppy, careless communication caused problems that should’ve never existed. It was unprofessional from start to finish. And then there’s James. If you like, living with garbage dirt and grime this is the place for you. It’s a pig sty with a nice comfortable section 8 vibe. If the front door is dirty when you get here turn around and walk away unless of course you’d like to live like this. Hey Marine Club this is your work order: empty the trash rooms, mop the floors, and clean the front door. I’ve been there 20 years. I’m gonna start using Google instead of the portal because every week it’s the same crap. Management office do your job.!!

I've lived here for 7 years and am obsessed with my apartment till this day. This is a beautiful building and a great location! The price is right, building is pet friendly, the gym and courtyard are incredible....Everything is SO convenient including lincoln square shops and subway stop and you're a 20-30 min walk to all the all the other great parts of the city. My apartment is completely renovated, HUGE closets and bathroom ... what more could you ask for?!

Scheduled and confirmed a tour for today. When I arrived the front desk man was rude and told me they don’t do tours on Saturdays. Was asked by the leasing office to wait for someone to show up. Waited for 15 minutes and no one ever did.

I moved to the Marine Club in November 2017 when I relocated to Philly. I chose to live here because it was close to the Navy Yard and public transportation. The first few years I stayed not because management was great because it was not but because my mom had pancreatic cancer and I was traveling back and forth to GA a lot and didn’t want the stress of a move. I’ve stayed the last 18 or so months because the new management company is amazing. James and Jennifer are a breath of fresh air. I see them more in a week than the previous leasing agents in 6 years. They make them selves easily accessible for residents. They’re out near the front desk regularly greeting people.
