Marina View Apartments

I was able to move in during winter and Ken (landlord) was very accommodating to this and created a 6 month lease for me. The cost was $825 but did not include utilities. Initially I asked what all utilities would be on average and was told between $35-$60 (on the high end because winter was so cold this year). Overall I've been paying consistently $96-98 for Sturgeon Bay Utilities and then $15-20 for Wisconsin Public Service Utilities. This has been the most I've paid for utilities in all the years I've been renting since my college days. Rent was going to be going up to $840 in the coming year also so I decided to move. Spectacular view of Sturgeon Bay! Units are reasonably priced for the Metro Area. And the manager is awesome. Residents are very friendly and pleasant. Snow removal is outstanding. This is my no. 1 place to live in Sturgeon Bay. Very soothing to the nerves and every day in Door County is a vacation day!

2 bed 2 bath overlooking the little lighthouse and Marina. Best views. Lynn is great to work with. Best thing is the view and cathedral ceilings. Low utilities and garage. Loved it there. Moved out of state. Still available. 14 hundred square feet

On the positive side, the location is fabulous. BUT, there are no storage lockers and a 1 car garage so small that you can fit about 6 totes and a car inside. The washer lid slammed on my hands with every use and barely agitates. The dryer door consistently hit me on the head. The dishwasher was LOUD and virtually useless. We called maintenance about these issues several times and was told that they were unable to correct the situations. We called three times about a dripping shower. The first time we were told that it wasn't dripping. They did not respond to our last two calls. Upon moving out we were told not to move out the washer, stove, and refrigerator as we could damage the tile. They would do that. We were charged outrageously for their efforts as well as fined $200 for a quarter

Didn't get to see inside the apartments themselves, but they look very nice from the outside. Heated pool is available that is also covered for those rainy summer days.
