Maplewood Commons Apartments

So the lady in the office might do her job well however she also does it very unprofessional! She has a nasty attitude when ppl go to the office. The office is locked up about 2 or 3 time's a week. This lady has more excuses and I don't tolerate nor condone or have the patience her lack of laziness. She show up on second or third never gave a time an we showed office closed both day's. We had a U-Haul loaded which everything is now in storage. After we we went office and she said my boss said to give our apt away. How the hell is that out fault I'll never know just pure incompetent and stupidity!!

The apartment has mushrooms growing in bathrooms the basement smells of sewage the kitchen sinks explode can't reach a soul to get it fixed so can't use sink oh the vent fan above the stove stove doesn't work so had to rig a small fan to it the heater covers fall off the outlets don't hold plugs you have to tape the cord to the outlets to stay in the paint is as old as the building and it's sticky and gross not worth what they want in rent. Let's not get started on when you do see a maintenance person they don't speak English so that's no friggin help.not worth it at all

Could be great for low income families with better a management team and a more dependable maintenance crew who can actually get things fixed promptly and it has a great location. Middle school is within walking distance another plus

The manager is no good they never want to replace anything I had live there for 3 years straight and ask her can she replace things she never did. Not a good place to live moving been the best thing for my kids.

The manager Emily Schmeil charges tenants for maintenance orders. Every maintenance man that was employed by Maplewood Commons quit within months. By the time you need something fixed, you're charged for tenant damage for something that was already broken. Emily does not do interims for rent adjustments when she supposed to. She also still charges you instead of adjusting your rent according to your income. I feel that she is pocketing money from tenants. The corporate office Wallick Communities of Maplewood Commons works with Emily to hide what's really going on. Someone really needs to investigate Maplewoid Commons.
