Maple Hill Apartments

I typically don’t leave reviews but considering I lived here for a full year, I feel like I should talk about my 100% honest experience here. Let’s start off with the positives, this apartment is on the “cheaper” side for a decent area. In California, you don’t usually run across apartments that are a decent price unless they’re in a horrible area but this area is just fine. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not THE BEST area but it’s whatever, I stayed multiple nights alone in my apartment as an 22 year old woman and felt perfectly safe and sound. My apartment had no type of bugs or mold or anything which was great because I wasn’t sure how it would be, being this was my first ever apartment. I lived there for a year back in 2018 I loved the environment felt safe, parking was great it was clean outside but always had water issues, water would go from warm to scorching hot, ac vent leaking water, sink overflowing, dishwasher squirting out water, and they took forever to fix anything and never answer phone in office. Someone broke my window and they still charged me for it even after I called and let them know it wasn’t me.

If I had to rate -0 I would!! These apartments are old and repainted all over!! Cynthia the manager is problematic and pick on you (if you let her). Also, I was done wrong when I moved in here. I signed a contract without inspecting the apartment first. I am getting charged for an "upgraded" apartment when is the same as the regular ones but paying more. 3 doors don't work, the screws come off often. Master bedroom has a lot of mold! 2 times maintenance guy came and clean it out with bleach, 3rd no one has come but the ticket was closed as resolved?? I emailed back about the issue not being resolved since last year and as of today; no response. There's no guest parking lot. It any of your 2 cars permitted to park inside is not registered to you or a tenant; it will NOT get a parking permit

Maple hill review Living here has been the most unpleasant experience ever. I don’t even know where to start. Management is so horrible here. Jennifer pretends that’s she doesn’t know what’s going on or how to help you with any concerns you’re having about your unit or the complex. My neighbors & I went 5 months without properly functioning hot water. We made several complaints to management everyday about this because many of us were getting sick having to take freezing cold showers in the winter. Management poorly handled that issue & kept giving us the run around because they didn’t want to have to spend money on a new water broiler. Judy from corporate lied to me & told me I was the only one experiencing this issue so I took matters into my own hands & contacted my neighbors about it

In the total experience of renting here, I will say that it’s a pretty decent place to live. There’s really nothing bad to say about this. They keep up the maintenance. They make sure that all your problems are fixed say that Your water Is not hot or something they will be on it as soon as possible say that your electricity goes out or your dishwasher stopped working or something. They will come out and fix it maybe the same day sometimes the next day sometimes the next next day. The person in the office, her name is Jennifer. She is one of the most kindest people that can help you on practically everything if you do rent here not so bad with parking. It’s not so bad with the neighbors. Everybody’s so kind . The pet rent is kind of high, but that is very understandable.
