Was excited about the purchase and the process seemed seamless. Lots of promises and build quality. The amenities seemed pleasant and comfortable. Fact is the homes are built with very poor quality compared to other builders in the area. Sure they look good, and yes you get a walk through.... just wait about a year or so and see for yourself. I would encourage you to look at our Facebook page. The gym is old and outdated half the time the equipment is working and usually not the cleanest. Bathrooms in the same common area are usually the same, dirty and not well cleaned often. The pool is nice in the summer months, provided they have lifeguards to keep it open and pool maintained. Decided to go with Dragas after a less than par experience with Ryan. Ryan homes is a dream compared to Dragas! Dragas is horrible, they lie about when you close on your home. They’ve been doing this for years. We were destitute for two months while incurring storage costs. I understand any new home lets the builder have a wide range of finishing, but a month later than the original date is okay???? Morgan was great, but Lori was an absolute horror and lied every step of the way. She just talks to talk. I recently had the opportunity to reside in the Hick Manor community and would like to provide an honest and professional review of my experience. While there are some positive aspects to the neighborhood, I believe there are several areas that need improvement in order to provide residents with a truly satisfying living experience. HOA Fees and Value for Money: One of the main concerns I have with Hick Manor community is the value for money in relation to the HOA fees. Updated 8/12/23 (Year #3) Continues to be a really good neighborhood. Dragas has quality control issues, luckily no further issues just make sure you hire an inspector prior to warranty expiration. Their sales staff was helpful but take what they tell you with a grain of salt. They are often are very misinformed (I think is not malicious). Warranty update: Dragas has a responsive warranty department which helps with their quality control gaps. The warranty does not have a sense of urgency they’re not in a hurry regardless of the issue so be ready to be the first line of defense. The warranty staff is very nice though. The neighborhood itself has mostly very nice people with a very few inconsiderate owners. The very vast majority are nice friendly people. This neighborhood is an HOA, but
