Manchester Court

I lived at this apartment building by for one year and I really have no complaints other than the hidden fees or sewer, water, and garbage. They kept it clean, it’s dog friendly, maintenance was on top of things when something broke, it was quiet. I really enjoyed living there. But I recently moved out on August 31st and yet to receive my deposit back. It’s October 3rd. I was calling weekly to get updates on it or to get some sort of information on how much I would even receive back but Sonia in the office didn’t have access to all that information she is just the leasing agent. Melissa is the one that deals with everything else and I finally received a call back from her on September 26th saying my check was issued on September 12th so she cancelled that one and reissued another one appa

I’ve lived here almost 2 years and I personally believe it’s a great place to call home. Melissa and Makayla are great managers, communicators, and have always quickly taken care of any maintenance issue I’ve had. The property is kept clean and landscaped. The only thing I wish they had was an access gate to keep non-residents from dumpster diving or using the community’s dumpster as their own.

I lived here for almost 2 years. Here are some pros and cons if you're thinking about living here: PRO -Location: I literally walked to the grocery store next to the apartment complex every week. It was very convent. The grocery store is fairly expensive though, but it was nice to not drive. You're also close to the highway, the mall, and McHenry Village. Living here, you'll be 5-15 min from everything. -In-Unit Washer: Definitely big perk having to do laundry on your own time. -Maintenance: They are fairly quick to fix things whenever you have maintenance request. For me, the staff was always respectful too, CONS -Price: For my unit, it wasn't nearly worth the price. Since I left they also increased it. I had a 12-month lease and I very much enjoyed my time at Manchester Court. The leasing office staff were always very communicative. The maintenance staff were respectful and prompt with any maintenance needs. As a woman living alone, I also felt very safe here! Only reason I moved was because I was leaving the area.

Don’t move here. Our car was broken into 2 weeks after moving in and the office didn’t care one bit. They have no cameras. We’ve lived here for almost a year and we can’t wait to move out. The apartments look “modern” but the floors are cheap. You can hear your neighbors snoring, their conversations, and everything else through the walls. There are so many bugs and snails everywhere. The pools are always dirty. Definitely not a family environment. You can’t take your kids outside because the little bit of grass they have is covered in dog poo. My parking spot is across the parking lot and I have small kids and cars come around the corner at full speed. Not worth the money!
