I recently moved into a very pretty 2 bedroom apartment at The Madison at the Arboretum. The apartment itself, the grounds, and friendly maintenance has far exceeded my expectations. The kitchen alone was so thoughtfully designed for people who actually have cooked something other than frozen microwave meals. Having left a place with so much potential, but was being managed by people who honestly couldn’t have cared less…about anything. So this glowing review is ultimately all about the property management team because everything that’s wonderful about The Madison is a direct reflection of their diligence and hard work.
My husband and I love living here! Everything is clean, well maintained, and it's really peaceful! There is good communication from the property management (they tell you well in advance if they have to shut anything off for repair and give you updates so you can prepare). Maintenance is very quick to respond to any work orders, and they do a quality job. This is an older complex, but the updates are great in our unit (new washer/dryer, garden tub, updated flooring and cabinets etc). There is an abundance of deer in the woodland parts of the property, so it feels like living in the country, even though you can walk to restaurants, grocery stores etc. The property is well lit at night, and there's plenty of convenient parking outside each building. There's also a really good, CL
I have lived at this community last year for an year and definitely not happy with them. The swimming pool was closed most of the summer because of the repairs. The apartments here are old with old appliances, old carpets, old cabinets etc We also had an incident where there was water shutoff for complete 3 full days for the entire community and this is not because of natural calamities like snow etc. They did a bad job on handling the issue. They hired a contractor to fix the issue and since they couldn’t fix it they hired another contractor. They kept saying that the issue will be resolved in few hours but it took them 3 complete days. We really had tough time with no access to water which is a basic need. We didn’t book a hotel stay either as they kept saying the issue will resolved soo
My spouse and I have lived at the Madison for over four years. We LOVE it. The community is wonderful, it’s peaceful, and the grounds are well kept. The buildings are well maintained and I’ve never had an issue getting maintenance to respond quickly to a need I have. The front office is always easy to get ahold of and has always been super nice and helpful, especially Niesha! The location, proximity to grocery stores, and easy access to the highway is unmatched. My spouse and I both work in South/East Austin-and can get to work in 20 minutes due to the proximity of 183-but we can also get to Round Rock in 15 minutes to drop our daughter off at her childcare center. I’ve lived in a lot of different apartments, and I have to say The Madison is the BEST and we’ve really enjoyed living here an
My fiancé and I have lived here for 3 years now, and it is my favorite apartment I have ever had. Some things that might help you decide: 1. Maintenance cares. Drop mic. Jared is the BEST maintenance guy ever. And that can really make or break a place. 2. Staff is very friendly and helpful in general! 3. There are lots of deer here. I think they are beautiful, but hubby hates them because he thinks they are going to trample our dogs. So it’s either great or terrible depending on how you feel about them. 4. Very dog friendly neighborhood! We have a cute little dog park at the top of the hill with agility tools, and everyone here knows each other’s dogs names… maybe not their people’s names all the time, but we are neighborly! 5. Back to Jared: the pool is ALWAYS clean. 6. The VIEW. I
