McGuire has recently held 2 auctions for our family. One was for vintage John Deere tractors/equipment and the other was a generic in-house online auction. We appreciated Marty’s enthusiasm for helping us through the process and grabbing items that we thought held NO value. We were so surprised by what items brought bids!! Bridget and Luke were great going through the house , too, and worked so hard. There were a couple mixups we should have caught, so I would advise clients to go through the listings carefully before the auction starts.

They went above and beyond, from hosting multiple open houses to even welcoming people with drinks on the patio, making sure every detail was just right. Our family has known McGuire Auction for decades—my mom worked there for almost 50 years—and it means a lot to see the same level of care and commitment carry on today. Thanks to their effort, I was able to sell at asking price. Truly a wonderful experience with people we consider not only trusted professionals, but also great family friends.

Tried purchasing an item on an online sale they were conducting. Was planning on having the item shipped. When the auction ended they informed me the item was pretty big and would be over $40 to ship. The item said available to ship on the site and did not have dimensions listed. I told them I wasn't going to pay $40 plus to ship something that was far less than that. I asked if I could pick it up in the town the auction was listed as. They told me it had been moved and was now an additional hour away. When I asked for a refund they were very rude and have now blackballed me from bidding on future auctions.

We have worked on preparing our home for sale for over 2 years. We chose Martha and McGuire Realty to sell our home from the very beginning. Martha was very PROFESSIONAL AND HONEST throughout our experience. She was extremely aware of various alternatives as we worked towards our final sale.
