I lived at Koehne Commons Apartments, managed by M & J Management Corp., for nearly five years, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. During my time there, I experienced a major flood from the apartment above me. The damage was significant, but the issue was only addressed after nearly six months — and only after I threatened to contact the city inspector. Even then, the carpet was never replaced. Ironically, when I moved out, I was charged for carpet replacement. Also, be aware of their lease terms: even if you’re on a month-to-month basis, you’re required to give at least 60 days’ notice. I live @ Windsor court apartments since May of 2016. Great place. I have new neighbors upstairs and my roommate is handling this matter as I work. I was practically told yesterday that I need to suck it up and get over the noise coming from upstairs from my new neighbors being loud from 12am til after 5am. I received a letter on my door stating different. I've been on my job 4yrs now and I'll probably have to quit my cause I can't stay awake at work. I get up at 540am monday-friday. I really love it herr,never been late on rent, I'm very quiet. Probably have to get a lawyer to get out of my lease since my sleep is not important to Windsor court anymore. This company is very deceitful and unethical organization.. Please do not sign any contracts with them.. Had a small kitchen fire and I had 250,000 worth of property insurance and they still demanded that I leave and billed me for the remaining 8,000 dollars for unpaid rent when they forced me to leave.. How unethical and very criminal. These companies should be regulated by the Attorney General and the BBB…
