LUX UTC Apartments

We have been living at Lux for the past three years, and it has been a great experience for our family. There are wonderful study spaces for me, fun activities for our child, and an excellent gym for my husband. I would also like to mention how great the doormen are, both during the day and at night. They are all kind and helpful. Mike is one of them, and he is great. He is incredibly responsible and always does his best. His kindness and professionalism make a big difference.

LUX UTC has been a great experience so far. Jacob showed us the apartment and was a huge help throughout the lease process, making everything smooth and easy. The team here has also been amazing — shoutout and thanks to Ben, Varunee, Lola, and everyone in the leasing office, management, maintenance, cleaning, and gym staff. Mike, the doorman at the Jewel building, is super friendly and welcoming and always says hi when you walk into the building. The rooftop views are amazing, and the gym is a big highlight with lots of equipment and well-maintained facilities 💪🏋️‍♂️. Maintenance is very quick to respond to requests — most of the time they fix things the next day, and sometimes even the same day, even on weekends. The neighborhood is lively and vibrant. I’ve been a resident here for the past three years, and the staff across the board—the front door team, front office, cleaning crew, and gym staff—have all been consistently top-notch. Everyone is professional, friendly, and clearly takes pride in what they do. Special shout-out to Mike, who works the night shift at the front door. He’s always kind, energetic, genuinely friendly, and incredibly helpful. He takes real interest in every interaction and brings great energy to the building. An absolute solid guy and a true asset to the community. I’ll miss our interactions when we move out.

I genuinely enjoy living in San Diego, and much of that happiness comes from Lux. The apartment offers a level of comfort that makes everyday life feel easy, from the modern spaces to the calm, well maintained environment. Lux feels less like a building and more like a community, where people respect and look out for one another. A big reason for that atmosphere is Mike, the doorman. He greets residents warmly, remembers faces, and always makes the entrance feel welcoming. His presence sets the tone, turning Lux into a place that truly feels like home for me every day.

I love living at LUX. Also Mike the doorman is a must there. He is always professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every interaction with him is positive he goes above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and safe. You can tell he truly cares about providing great service and takes pride in his work.
