I can't speak for the experience of other buyers in Lugano, but I can say my son wanted to live in the Haile area and bought a home here and while the house was already two years old and not under warranty, my son has been very happy. He has been living here almost a year and is grateful he bought here instead of an older home in the Haile area. And I know he's not alone because we have met some really happy neighbors! We are throwing a UF graduation party at the beautiful clubhouse (see pic) soon and we are so grateful to have access to a beautiful clubhouse like this one for a party. The clubhouse rental including full kitchen is $100 and the other $250 is refundable. As a resident I would just say save yourself the headaches and build with LITERALLY ANY OTHER BUILDER IN GAINESVILLE. What a joke. Thinking about doing my own parade of homes where I just take you through my home so you can see exactly what myself, and the many other residents are having to deal with. Annnnnd the kicker…they just raised our HOA dues more than DOUBLE, without having built the pool residents were promised years ago. I’ll also walk you down the street to mom’s home with a roof that’s been leaking for 2 years and seems nobody wants to take responsibility for, despite the fact that it’s supposed to be covered under warranty.I have so many more photos to share! My husband and I went in to see available lots for a home build. We were able to find a nice size lot and a floor plan we both agreed on. We are under contract and excited for our new build.

The HOA is crazy! I am contracted with their lawn company and pay them for my front lawn, then I pay the lawn company they selected extra money to maintain the side and backyard. The company they selected is not performing so now this HOA is sending me post cards saying I have to fix my weeds. What they need to do instead is send their notice and fine to the company they selected and have them fix our lawns. Each month, I pay ADDITIONAL to receive the following and have never ever received these services had to hire an independent lawn man to help me this time last year because their preferred and contracted lawn company couldn’t care less. Don’t move into this neighborhood unless you want to play by the HOA rules and also get stung by them. Below is what the additionally agreement is bet

They decided to block me on Facebook and social media. This neighborhood is charging $210 HOA a a club house that’s only opened on the weekdays 8-5pm And closed on the weekends. Unless you rent it out for 350 on the weekends on top of your $210 a month. Half the neighborhood grass looks horrible from the lawn care service they’re providing. I’ll never be able to use the club house because i work a regular hour job and they don’t seem to care. Now let’s talk about the houses. You’ll get un matched crown moulding. Holes in your roof and ceilings, your floors will be lifting, your tiles will be cut crooked, and they’ll take forever to get it fixed and do the right thing because they don’t want to own up to their own mistakes. Or they will simply not fix it.
