Do NOT Lease Here – Bed Bug Infestation and Deceptive Practices Linden at Parkside promises newly renovated townhome style living but what you really get is an outdated infested apartment. Imagine you sign a lease to a new place as you're looking for a fresh start and within 6 hours of being in the unit at Linden at Parkside, you discover bed bugs!!! This is embarrassing to post but thankfully I caught it before I moved in and got settled. And hopefully it will save someone else the hassle. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT MOVING HERE!!! The management, including Ashley Chase and Assistant Manager D. Atkins, appear to be fully aware of the problem. While D. I went for a viewing on yesterday and the lightskin possible white a little heavyset , short hair lady (because she refused to give me her name) refused to give me a tour but instead she was very rude. Asked me my income and I told her. She tells me " oh that's definitely not enough for us, do you HAVE to come apply to us? I don't think you qualify i can help you maybe get a one bedroom. I said ma'am I make almost 50k by myself every year I have 3 children i can't use a 3 bedroom and when I called before I came i asked these income questions on the phone and a different young lady told Me to come on by which she was very nice. Like my new home. Office staff and maintenence team have been as helpful as they can.....i guess, Hot water not working , gas leak iits saturday...may not have hot water until monday....😬😶 Fast forward to the following monday Communication and coordination with the city of richmond was absolutely awful. Did not have a good move in experience at all Just know that it is a requirement to have All utilities activated before you move in. Me not setting up my utilities WAS NOT THE PROBLEM. The hot water tank had been in the apt since the apts were built.

D. Atkins did an amazing job on changing my move in date! She is amazing and wonderful. She made ne feel appreciated and not just someone filling an empty home. She went above and beyond and I truly appreciate her and her staff!!! The maintenance men worked on that hott day to make sure everything was perfect for move in. Great team they have here.
