LGI Homes - Riverstone

Bought our home less than two years ago. Had some issues originally with flooding and general finish (tubs not properly sealed, back sliding door broken and not repaired despite it being noted on the initial walkthrough until much much much later). Biggest issue? Had to move suddenly and the home has lost almost half of its "value". Absolutely disgusting but I guess that's what happens when you buy homes in America these days. Don't waste your money.

We purchased our home at first visit, (probably not a good idea)Morida was good!! Okay, since purchase do to the rise I think our cost too much for such little space. We later found out that it was a crack in the tub lining they came patched it up. One month later, cracked has returned and asked to replace it , but the half job done is terrible. It's now the new year, and they still haven't fixed the molding.. Great neighborhood! I'm praying for at least 3 more years here!

The buying experience was fantastic, quick closing and it was as easy as buying a house can be. The contractor though was not as great. We met him on closing day and it was a bit of a whirlwind going through and my partner and I definitely aren't professionals in construction so relied on his expertise to help identify any issues. He caught a couple... but not everything. For example, two days after the closing I have a Garage epoxy company come out and point to the many flaws in the concrete that they had to fix before doing their job. The contractor didn't offer much as far as a solution and sorta just shoulder shrugged me off. My husband and I recently bought a home from LGI Lakeland, FL Riverstone. Everyone one in the sales office was friendly, helpful, professional and made our home buying experience the best we've ever had. Morita was great and we definitely recommend her. We love our LGI home!

BE AWARE!!!. Never buy a unfinished house from them, they advertise 12 months warranty, but they never come to fix anything. I have to pay one of their providers myself because they will not service LGI because they hadn't pay their bills. If LGI doesn't pay their providers on time or at all, don't expect they will resolve your issues, you will be on your own even if they offer to fix issues during closing with their warranty. I have so many issues that have not been resolved after months of waiting for service.
