I’m sharing my experience with Lerner Oxford Square Apartments to help future residents make an informed decision. Poor Communication & Unexpected Fees From the beginning of our move-out process, communication from management was unclear. We were only told to “give notice,” but no one explained that it had to be done by email specifically. Because they failed to communicate this important step, we were later charged a 30-day notice fee, which came as a complete surprise. This could have been avoided if staff had provided clear and accurate instructions from the start. Security Deposit Issue We were told that our security deposit would be returned within 45 days after move-out. However, even after the 45-day window passed, we still received nothing. New resident since December 2025, and absolutely loving it. Spacious apartments, great location, wonderful privacy and security. The maintenance team is great and Jackie in the front office is amazing. A real gem in Rockville, very glad we found this place!

My family and I came in to look for a new apartment and met with the Property Manager Miesha. She was very informative and knowledgeable about the community. She made me feel comfortable about wanting to live in the Rockville area after being undecided for months. The community was beautiful and well managed, I hope my application gets approved soon as I can’t wait to move in.

Lived here for a year now, here are the pros and cons I’ve found at this place: Pros: - Maintenance staff is fantastic. They are always on the ball and quick to answer any concerns. They’re also super nice and communicative. Can’t say enough fantastic things about them. - Samantha in the office is awesome. Always helpful and knowledgeable, always gets back to you promptly, always really nice. Love her! -Neighbors are very friendly. I have a dog and it’s great to meet and chat with the other resident dog owners. In my building it’s quiet and everyone is neighborly and respectful of others’ peace. - Appreciate the secure buildings and the package lockers - Very nice pool, though I don’t use it often - Big walk in closet space!
