Update - 12/27/23 We are having our scheduled, 1 Year Punch-Out done and are being told that the nail-pops and drywall cracks will be filled, but will not be sanded and painted. In my opinion, I believe this policy is clearly nothing more than a deterrent to keep costs down for the builder and a tactic used so the homeowner does not ask for these repairs since they will now have to bear any costs or labor to complete the job. I personally worked for a large home builder in the area doing this type of work as a young adult and Sanding and Painting the Repairs were most definitely something we did to complete the job. We did the right thing and completed the job like professionals and did not leave it to the homeowner to finish. While this is a relatively small issue in the big scheme of
