Lennar at Harbor East

The HOA manager Christine took down a memorial for a resident who died of an accident in the property. She then lied about all the stuff removed by saying she held it for a month before throwing it away. Seeing how the site was visited several times a week by the widower, the claim that the stuff was held before throwing the it away was disrespectful on several levels. If that's how the property management handles the loss of one of thier residents, with no compassion and then doubling down with a blatant lie, I would think hard before committing to investing in living there. This situation should have been handled much differently and the actions taken do not reflect well on the people who are in charge

What should be a happy occasion, has been an absolute nightmare. I would strongly recommend staying away from Lennar’s Harbor East. They require that you either have a special code or a barcode to get into the gate. Our barcode has never worked and I’ve been trying for two weeks to get one activated, to no avail. They make you jump through these ridiculous hoops to get things okayed through their HOA, and you wait days/weeks to get a response and the work completed. Then they don’t enforce any of their home association regulations. There are boats parked on the street throughout the subdivision. To put the final nail in the coffin, the main reason we bought the house was to have water access to the Gulf. We were promised that we could put in a dock. Only to be informed 2 weeks ago that all

Terrible home builder, who constructs shoddy homes, who bought out a formally wildlife preserved area in South Gulf Cove. Shame on them, and the SGC owners who sold them this precious land. If you're looking for your own proof on the durability and quality of these homes, drive one minute west to "West Poterville" and take a look for yourself. Or better yet, take a ride in a boat through the north side of West Poterville lagoon and look at those homes slipping into the ocean because the builder skimped out of putting in a seawall....

Used to be a nice place to walk and enjoy nature. Lennar turned it into a wall-to-wall cookie-cutter hell. Please don't support them and consider buying a home elsewhere.
