Lennar at Cypress Park Estates

We were drawn to Cypress Park Estates because it initially looked like a nice community, but our experience has been very different. The area has serious safety concerns, including visible gang activity, shootings reported in the nearby park during the day, one person has died so far and unsafe streets due to frequent street racing and large car meets. It’s not uncommon to see drug activity in the area as well, which makes daily life stressful and unsafe. What makes this even more concerning is that these issues directly affect the local school that families here are zoned for. We expected a safe, family-friendly neighborhood after paying over $300K for a home (plus yearly CDD fees), but instead we feel misled.
