Leland Management, LLC and Casa Sevilla Community, On June 28th, I accidentally struck the property’s backflow device near the pool area. The neighbors and I immediately shut off the water valve, contacted the city to inspect the pipes, filed a police report, and notified a representative of the community board to witness the incident. The first communication I received from the management company regarding this matter was on October 21st, when I was sent invoices and instructed to pay them as soon as possible. The charges included: Bob’s Backflow – $463.05, Rolland Reash Plumbing – $448.72, Verdego Landscaping – $160.00, and St. Johns County Utility – $1,866.44, for a total of $2,938.21. Upon reviewing the invoices, I noticed that the plumbing invoice was dated July 8th—ten days after

STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING MANAGED BY LELAND!! Especially Big Tree!!! Michael Carozza is the most unprofessional property manager I have ever dealt with. He is rude and shows no concern for residents’ problems. He answers emails rudely—when he bothers to respond at all. Dead branches have been falling on our vehicles for months and this has been ignored. Now, one has finally gone through my windshield. And what is the HOA’s response? That the tree company decides if a branch is dead and whether it should be removed. But when you ask the tree company, they say anything beyond basic cleaning must be approved by the HOA. So what are residents left with? No solutions, and broken windshields.

Leland Management has been extremely disappointing as an HOA management company. Communication is poor, responses are slow or selectively ignored, and enforcement of rules appears inconsistent and arbitrary. Legitimate questions often go unanswered, while minor issues are escalated without clear justification or understanding of the actual situation. Instead of working with homeowners to resolve matters reasonably, interactions feel adversarial and dismissive. There is little transparency, and it often seems policies are applied differently depending on the homeowner, which creates frustration and mistrust. An HOA management company should help maintain the community while treating residents fairly and professionally. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience with Leland Management.

Joseph Estrada horrible communication. Does not reply to emails or calls. He completely ignores all communication. I will contact someone above him and have them look into whether he’s actually working or not .

Specifically for the JAX GATES DEPT - Just like the rest of the reviews - very poor communication and there is a huge lack of professionalism. Celina believes that she does not have to answer emails or questions that have been asked more than once or if she decides we should not know about it. For example - I ask if there are clickers available for the new community we moved in at. She says no. My neighbor says yes, I got one for my golf cart. I asked her again, she says NO. I say what about for my golf cart? To hear her reaction - she says well do you have a golf cart, if so YES!!! Ofc after board approval and registration of the golf cart. See theres the problem - you answer saying Clickers are only given if you have a golf cart and are intended to be used only for golf cart access. Don’
