I've lived here for 1.5 years and it's been a total nightmare. Legend USA is the worst developer ever. We’ve been complaining for over a year about constant leaks and toxic mold, but they just ignore us. You can literally see rusted rebar coming through the cracked concrete in the garage. They don’t care about our safety at all. They just take your money and disappear when the building starts falling apart. Stay away from any of their projects!

I was one of the first homeowners to move into the first complex that this developer built in the USA (Villa Bella Santa Clara) and while the complex looks fairly modern and chic on the outside, the insides of the building in my opinion leaves much to be desired. There are many leaks around the building, rusted metal gates and pipes and unfinished construction. Residents reported these defects to the developer and some go unaddressed for long periods of time. On top of all the quality issues, the developer does not manage the community adequately. Requests to the developer is either responded to slowly or not at all. There is no communication on timelines for construction progress or resolution of issues. Do your research before you make any decisions.

As an owner and resident of the “new” Villa Bella complex in Santa Clara, I'm very disappointed with the way the developer (legend USA ) has left several unresolved issues that need attention. Key amenities advertised, like the unpainted fence, bike room and the kitchen in the community room, are incomplete or missing. Additionally, there are leaks in the garage that raise concerns about short and long-term maintenance among others that have been unresolved since we moved in. While the building’s design and location are appealing, these problems detract from the overall experience. We purchased a unit at Villa Bella with high expectations, but our experience so far has highlighted the need for more transparent and consistent communication from the developer. Key Concerns: 1️⃣ Unmet Promises: We were initially told that the clubhouse would have curtains and that the bike room would feature secure, lockable storage. In reality, the bike room only has basic wall hooks, and the walls remain unpainted. These details differ significantly from what was originally promised. 2️⃣ Construction Delays & Quality Issues: There have been multiple reports of leaks throughout the building, along with rusting metal structures. Despite raising these issues, clear timelines for resolution are rarely provided. Deadlines keep getting pushed back repeatedly, with little to no explanation.

I am one of the first homeowners in their first construction in the US and I moved in 6 months ago. The neighbors are great and the community sentiment is strong. However prospective buyers should consider the following issues before making a purchase. The building is more than half occupied by homeowners now, yet the developers have not fully completed construction - the bike room is not ready. They have also misled people into giving warranties for appliances that are not new so the warranties have expired. The rains have revealed multiple leaks around the building. Multiple metal structures are already rusting - patio railing, pipes etc. Once you purchase, the developer gets VERY hard to get ahold of and stonewalls the above state issues.
