Legacy at Mayland

Came by today to tour apartments for an upcoming move due to work. Complex is seems nice and overall apartment quality is decent for the price range. The touring process was easy and straight forward. I especially apreciated being able to walk into the actual apartments listed, and not just a show room apartment. Want to give a huge shoutout to Jeffrey at the leasing office. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the property and a huge help in narrowing down units that best fit what I was looking for.

So as an older resident of English Hills for many many years. I am simply appalled how awful this apartment complex has turned out. This community was my goto place when I wanted an appointment and loved living here. But recently I was hired to deep clean an apartment by a new resident that was doing a lease takeover and was absolutely blown away by the condition of the apartment the last tenet left and the fact that dead roaches were everywhere. The toilet was messed up, the ceiling was coming down im the master bedroom. The ice on steps that should have been salted almost killed me leaving. The ridiculous parking situation. How are you going to charge guest to park overnight? The towing is out of control. In 2 days of coming to this property to clean it was crazy how many cars were towed

This is one of the worst places a human being can live. Staff is almost completely unresponsive. Most of the time if you have an issue like mold or if you have a Crack in the windowsill causing a leak when it rains, they'll just paint over it. Needless to say, the mold is back and window is leaking again. We've had no water pressure in our bathroom sinks for months and everytime we tried to get someone to come and fix it, they say they're looking into it, and are going to get a 3rd party plumber to come and fix it. The plumber has yet to arrive. But we did get brand new toilets installed, so that was neat, I guess. The people living in the neighborhood aren't much better either. There are a few friendly people here and there. But there are people dealing drugs here, you've got people break

As a resident since 2021at Legacy at Mayland, my overall experience has been positive. It is in a prime location with amenities near great schools, highways, shopping, restaurants, entertainment and medical facilities. It is home to a diverse community of professionals, workers, retirees, students and families from different backgrounds that vibe together. From the friendly, respectful and supportive neighbors to the professional, courteous and responsive staff, the people in our community make it a great place to live. For example, maintenence technician, Tyrell Short made an indelible impression. He stood out because of his outgoing disposition, willingness to educate, efficiency and extra care taken to respect my home. I appreciate my neighbors and the staff that make it a nice place

I would like to leave a positive review for Terrell, who is part of the maintenance staff at Legacy at Mayland. He always provides excellent service and has a great attitude. He is very responsive and works quickly to resolve any situation. Terrell is professional, respectful, and genuinely cares about helping residents. He shows strong values and a willingness to go above and beyond. We truly appreciate his hard work and dedication. Thank you for having such a great team member!
