I highly recommend Laurel Properties. Doing business with them as a renter has been an incredible experience. Pete Medina has been our agent and main point of contact, and his professionalism, honesty and responsiveness makes him stand out. The admin team is highly organized and a pleasure to deal with. Every issue we’ve had has been addressed immediately, and our rental is beautifully kept. Can’t say enough good things. UPDATE: the staff is amazing. Someone is always there to answer the phone and provide friendly, fast assistance. Julie is phenomenal- just so kind and professional. Property management like this is a diamond in the rough in this day and age.

I would not trust the recent positive reviews on here, they appear fake. This review is for Pete Medina. I can’t comment on the rest of Laurel properties as he is the only person I interacted with. I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Pete Medina. He is very untrustworthy. He approved me for his listing and said it was mine and I agreed to his suggested start date. He had previously suggested terms the owners would be interested in on the walk thru (for an example, sign a longer lease (2 years), pay a larger deposit, etc.) I told him after getting accepted that i was ready to sign, really eager to move forward, and will agree to those terms we discussed for a small decrease in rent. Pete said he thought the owners would be happy with that arrangement and ready to sign immediate

We had a great experience renting from Laurel Properties. While the building was a classic SF victorian and things did sometimes need to be fixed up, the team was reasonable, very helpful, and flexible about any problems or questions we had. I would highly recommend working with them. We originally got a tour of our place from Pete Medina who continued to be our main point of contact. He was great- very friendly and always available to help 👍.

I agree that the positive reviews sound fake. When reading them, it’s unimaginable that Laurel Properties, let alone Pete M would be that considerate and eager to please their tenants. I don’t recommend renting from them.

Pete Medina arranged for us to tour an apartment last weekend. When we got to the address the day of he was a no show, ignored texts and calls too. A complete waste of time and effort. This place is probably a scam - watch out.
