I do not live here, however my boyfriend has lived here for almost 3 years and I have been a guest every week. The amount of issues he has had in his apartment does not justify the rent. ROACHES and MOLD being the top 2 issues he has had MULTIPLE TIMES. And the workers? they do not care. Recently there was a severe mold issue and the entire apartment below him had to be evacuated. The mold issue was also in my boyfriend’s AC unit. The team came to put up a temporary structure for containment. It has been about 2 months and the complex has completely forgotten and never came back to check up. As a guest (former UNCC student) coming to visit, it’s truly disgusting as an outside perspective and we have to PAY FOR PARKING? After what I’ve seen the past 3 years, I told every student looking for

I’ve lived here for two years now. I genuinely think it’s not a bad place to live. It’s really a you get what you pay for kind of vibe, however somethings could be improved. Maintenance is nice and usually responds quickly, but whether or not the issue actually gets fixed depends on the situation. We have put in almost 7+ requests to have our dryer fixed so we can dry our clothes and the dryer still does not work and they are unwilling to replace it no matter how many requests we put in to get a new one. I shouldn’t have to leave my apartment in order to get my laundry done when there is a washer and dryer in the home. Not to mention we have to share it with 3 other people and it takes 3 cycles to dry.

I currently live at Latitude 49 and I just want to take a moment to recognize Ms. Erica Wall. She is very organized and truly cares about keeping everything running smoothly. You can tell she is really trying her best to make this community better for everyone. She’s helpful and willing to work with you, you just have to communicate with her. As long as you’re respectful and open, she will absolutely respect you back and do what she can to help. I appreciate her effort and dedication to the residents here!

My girlfriend lives here and visit every weekend. She hasn’t had much issue with the building itself (outside of the appliances). However the parking issue is insane. If you aren’t actively thinking about your parking every second you will be towed. They say parking is an issue but clearly there is enough for a random shipping container and approximately 20-30 unused spots in the same area. If you do get towed by the lovely company that waits for you to park. You will end up paying 350 bucks! And the prices! They are a steal….from you pocket! If you want to spend the weekend make sure you have 27.98 because if you don’t get towed that’s what you’ll pay. Let’s ask ourselves is this fair?

My greatest advice is to not live there if you are researching for a student living area in university blvd. They/property managers and maintenance steal items out of your room, harass you, perform illegal room searches, grant gate access to non-residence, backhanded dirty deeds, and car vandalism. Also, the tour that is given when you want to apply yourself, looks nothing like the apartments that you will move into on move in day. Light fixtures never get fixed properly, flooring and base boards are worn and dirty, the smell is terrible, there is barely any proper natural lighting in certain buildings, windows are very dirty and potentially could make residence sick. They also overcharge you for these issues when you end your lease which is called the “move out” fee and charges extra for
