Beware! If Larsen is building next to you be prepared for property damage and a discourteous follow up from their staff. Day started at 7AM driving 15’ concrete piers in the ground, by noon they destroyed the chimney and gutter (pics included). Top it off with mounds of dirt on the flower bed in my backyard and blocking my garage when I get home. This is all in one day, no apologies, no courtesy, zero professionalism to someone who has lived here for years. The owner Larry Larsen lives on the same street (3 houses down). If this happens to his neighbor, what could happen to you?

Several years ago, I decided to transform an old farmhouse and build a modern version of the house on the same lot in Observatory Park in Denver. It was not an easy process and often times my vision appeared to wander down the path less traveled. Despite the complexities of the construction and the intricacies of the design, it was a process I would do all over again – but only if I had the team at Larsen once again by my side. I don’t normally write reviews unless I experience a wow experience. I can’t speak as a client that has had a home built by Larsen just yet but I can a fellow contractor in the trades. I’ve been in the HVAC industry for almost 20 years and have usually steared away from new construction due to contractors cutting corners to cut cost and not caring if things are done right. But Jeff and his team at Larsen Development have regained my faith. They build one of the best homes I’ve ever seen and truly care about the quality of their work. Making sure everything is the best it can be and not steering away from that at all. And all of their clients are family when they finished with the project. Great customer service. Great job guys. We worked with Larsen to do a second floor addition and general remodel of our entire house a few years ago. I cannot say enough great things about the integrity of this company! They were wonderful to work with, and allowed us to modify selections to meet our budget and our needs. They were open and honest about the costs of construction, and when we had a severe water damage situation from a storm, they graciously accepted responsibility and covered all costs associated with the cleanup. Everyone tells horror stories about their contractors during renovation - but we never experienced any of that with Larsen. They were a great company to work with and we would definitely use them again without question!!
