This has been the WORST Airbnb experience I have ever had. I should have realized this is just another negligent management company that puts profits over good business practices. 1. I booked my unit then received a response that this shouldn’t have been an “instant boom” - 4 minutes later they said they would have the cleaners come the following morning (the morning of my check in) 2. Arrived at the unit to find that though “free parking” was advertised- free parking is only for 2 hours at a time, or you can pay for a permit. 3. I unlocked the unit and was met with the smell of dog - as I was traveling with two of my own dogs I decided to just roll with it (yes another mistake on my part). 4. Nice, and at first very communicative. I'm a renter in an owner owned building has a lot of issues. I wasn't told up front of these issues which was frustrating and kind of makes you feel like they were being sneaky. Also if there is an issue w/ the apt (clogged sink, door handles falling off) it takes anywhere from 1-3 weeks to get it fixed, with many reminder texts, etc. Additionally, I was told I was signed up for renters insurance through them, but then they asked for the insurance info to address a water leak that affected neighbors below, and acted like they didn't know they signed me up for a policy. I then had to go through this whole ordeal to figure out the renter's insurance, when I was already paying them $20/month and I was in the middle of a huge conference and busy period a
