Landon Homes

I am not only a Landon Homeowner, but also a new home consultant with Landon Homes. I have worked for this small family owned company for 5 years and have helped over 140 new happy homeowners. I couldn't be happier. I was so impressed with the quality of our homes and the experience we offer our customers my husband and I decided to build a new home instead of purchasing a resale. The design denter and their team of designers are amazing! We had to please the most difficult customer ever, my husband! I promised him that he would love our new home and he does. We closed on our home two years ago and it is the best decision we ever made. We plan on enjoying our home for many, many years.

ZERO STAR wasn't an option. Stay away from Landon. Lot's of turnover - no accountability, lot's of finger pointing, and long response times. You have to follow up again and again and demand response! I have a home, less than 2 years old. They built the home too low, we have been fighting water and drainage issues for two years. They built the frame crooked, resulting in nails popping out of the siding, bowed siding, and the ceiling bowing. The ceiling had to be redone twice, Most of the siding replaced, and the joists had to be lifted from inside the attic. When they came out to repair, they damage tiles and refused to fix them. Parts of the roof were not installed properly and we had two roof leaks the first year - I had buckets catching water in my bathroom and dining room. The outside

My family and I are fairly new Landon homeowners. We have been in our new home for around 7 months. Our head builder, Sunny was the best. She worked hard to get our home ready right on time. She stayed in contact with us throughout all of the process and walked us through building/buying our first new "new" home ever. We appreciated the time line Landon was willing to work out for us and all the little personal touches that went into the process. Loving Living in our new Landon Home.

Closed in Oct. 2016. Punch items from closing still exist. DO NOT CLOSE without your items being taken care of! Two electrical shorts..one took 6 months to be addressed and still no action on the other. I've now been without a kitchen sink for three days as it leaks from the faucet as well as pipes under the sink. NOT even a phone call. Supposed to be covered under warranty. There are many more issues that I could list but for space sake I won't. Just beware. If I had to do it over again I WOULD NOT BUY A LANDON HOME! Do so at your own risk.

Purchase agreement was written on 10/6/17 with a long list of items needed. I was told over, over and over again by Sales Rep, Construction Super that all would be taken care of prior to move in. Day of close none of the items were completed. I should not of closed, however we were in a bind. Here it is 4 months since closing and a few of the small items have been taken care of. I have asked, asked and asked again and received responses from several people including the vice president of operations making unfulfilled promises. And still have not resolved the biggest issue, the terrible quality of drywall and paint and the roof structure and trust me the rest of the list is very long. I feel like I was totally ripped off and now I have a lemon of a home!
