It's difficult to describe how awful and dismissive the people running the Landmark at Pine Court are, but I'll give you a few examples. 1) After 4 months of no ac, from June to September, the woman at the front desk had the audacity to sush me to my face and said that the window unit that they provided was adequate for cooling our apartment. It looked and smelled like they pulled it out of a dumpster. They also did not appropriately size the equipment they installed, and the apartment was always damp and unpleasant. I do not believe they had a licensed hvac professional replace our apartment's unit. 2) They target the community for not picking up after their dogs, but they have never once replaced the bags in any of their dog waste stations. 3) They changed gym hours and they didn't in
Please save your money! This is one of the worst decisions I have made in my life. The staff cares nothing about the tenants. My car was broken into and over $800 in money and valuables were taken. The apartment complex holds no responsibility even though we have made several complaints about parking. The car was parked in front of another building because there was no parking in front of my building or adjacent to my building. I called and they requested I file a police report which I did and they offered nothing to help or contribute not even camera footage. After the fact another car was broken into I reached out to the staff and informed them of this information. Upon move in we were not aware of all the hidden charges that have been added to our rent as upon signing of the lease it was never brought up! So not only are you having to pay for the electricity for the common areas like the hallways but you also have to pay for the big trash cans that waste management comes to pick up and not only that you are forced to pay $35 a month for valet trash pick up in which we tried to fight cause we are capable of taking our own trash out! On top of that the supposed car care center that doesn't work and hasn't worked for months as the vacuum is broke there is no hose to was your car and there are no trash cans out there to clean your car out! Lived here for roughly a year and 8 months. I originally did recommend living here as the first year wasn’t terrible. Maintenance fixed issues. The crime was lower. Staff was accommodating. However since January this place has seriously gone down hill. Two summers spent here and both years was unable to use the pool despite it being included in the price of amenities. Summer 2024, the water was black. This past spring they remodeled the pool and it was looking great, then the day after I swam in it, it was shut down by DHEC. We also pay for the gym, which is unusable and only accessible during business hours. All attachments for the cable tower are missing, weights are missing and overall lacks any useful equipment. I haven't received the refrigerator as of yet.I will not use any appliances that have live roaches running around. For one I expect more since this is not a project setting nor is it low income housing. So when moving in I expect if not new appliances well maintained ones....the only thing that was done was they replacement the microwave which was a problem but since I dont have food or keep food in here that was not major. The roach problem is my main focus because I don't live in a nasty environment. I take care of my living quarters as if it was my own...I didn't get my entire deposit back because I was told there was some marks on the counter top from the previous one a years ago which were already there.
