Lakeside Plaza Apartments

Kandice is very rude and not concerned about anything but getting these places rented. She doesn’t respond to calls or request and she’s rude. She don’t allow the tenants to reach out to the property owner she tells you, you are only allowed to talk to her but then never returns your calls. The people that upkeep the property are very kind but sorry to say Kandice has a beautiful smile and very friendly to get you to rent, takes advantage of first renters and should not be trusted, she’s completely only worried about money. She should definitely not have a license to rent or sell properties…

Beware! Property is roach infested. Kandise Powell is the property Manager. She has a poor attitude and is condescending in communication when simply asked to do her job. Will never do business with her again and encourage you to find someone else and a different property to live!

Posting anonymously. My last review was removed likely to keep up good appearances. Do not live at the Lakeside Plaza apts on Lakeside dr. At least not in the B building. There is a massive roach problem that for whatever reason is not being addressed whatsoever. Kandise Powell manages this property and plays dumb to the whole issue, often sending Dodson to barge in every month and sooner if you complain enough. Thing is, Dodson will spritz a corner of the room and then leave. The whole building is infested, why aren't more measures being taken to make this a livable place for others? I can't speak to the condition of other units within this building, but my apartment is overly clean and I STILL see roaches a few times a week. Absolutely ridiculous. The property management is awesome! The owners have done an incredible job renovating and making it affordable and comfortable. The only downside is the laundry charge, but we make it work.

Very nice and spacious 2 bedroom apartments with each unit being completely renovated. They have updated applainces, dishwashers in each unit, and laundry on site.
