Lakeside at Town Center Apartments

Ty in the office is real nice and professional but honestly that’s about it. Moved in 2 weeks ago and it looks nothing how I expected it. apt is infested with roaches. Pest control come once a week but that’s not enough. Appliances are old, rusted, and disgusting. They won’t replace them but won’t let you get your own either. As expensive as rent is, the apt should at least come with decent usable appliances. Stove smells like something is burning everytime you turn it on. Freezer and refrigerator has a crazy odor. I tried to clean it, but still don’t wanna put my food in there. Work order was put in 2 weeks ago to change the nasty seals on freezer and refrigerator. We’ve been here a year and a half and have had issue after issue. It’s crazy. The community is so messy, parents don’t parent their children and have them running around without supervision. They leave their trash everywhere even most adults. There has been a pillow that someone threw on a garage there for weeks. There was a women’s sanitary napkin on the steps for a week that I had to pick up because I didn’t want my mom to have to walk past it. Someone left a magnum condom wrapper in the grass that was there for days. The list goes on and on. Every time I call the office management regarding an issue, the response is I don’t know what you want me to do, umm what do you mean you don’t know what I want you to do. There’s always something wrong with the apartment when I first moved in the heater wasn’t working for three months no heater no AC. I couldn’t have anything for three whole months. The other day I’m trying to get ready for work. They turn off the water in the apartment. Didn’t give any notification whatsoever to anyone I couldn’t make it to work that morning because the water was off. A week after that the hot water is completely turned off. I wake up in the morning because I have to catch a flight. There is no hot water. I come back how many days later so I could take a shower. There’s still no hot water in the apartment. My rent is on time you’re not even allowed to miss a payment here, but I cannot simply live in my apartment in peace. I can’t wait for my lease to end. I’m done with thi

Ty and Justin in the office are always nice to deal with and are attentive to your concerns. I've lived here a little over a year now and overall it's a great place to live. I'm in the larger one bedroom with the "sunroom" which is my home office. My apartment is nice and adequate for my needs and my building is quiet and peaceful. My maintenance issues are addressed and fixed in a timely manner. My only complaint is the call box glitches more often than not and you can't buzz anyone in. And last but not least, people that don't pick up after their pets, but that's not something management can control.

I would like to take the time to express my gratitude and appreciation to the entire Lakeside staff. I have noticed significant improvements over the past few months and can honestly say Sequane has built an amazing team. My work orders have been properly handled and communicated as well as receiving nothing but professional, top-notch customer service from the office. I recommend living at Lakeside to anyone in search of a new place to call home. Thank you again, Lakeside team.
