Lakeside Apartments

Where do I begin with Lakeside Apartments? This complex was built in the 1970s and, unfortunately, much of the living experience has not improved with time. Don’t be fooled by all the glowing 5-star reviews—many of those are incentivized by the management office offering residents $20-30 off their rent for a perfect rating. Yes, they literally called and asked for a 5-star review in exchange for a discount, which tells you everything. My main issue has been the complete lack of attention or care from management towards noise and pet disturbances from upstairs neighbors. Throughout the day, there’s constant dragging of furniture, running, and banging above my unit. The neighbor also has two dogs that are never taken out to play; instead, they’re kept on the patio 24/7 where they bark at all

Update: just wanted to update my review. There was a change of management. The prior manager got removed. Not surprised. The new manager Araceli has reached out to me and has apologized. She really is great. She's kind and will take time to talk to you if you have any issues. I finally got my gift card which was long over due but to their defense, they didn't know the old manager didn't give me the card. I still feel I am owed more but I'm just grateful I got my gift card and an apology. So from a one star to a 4 star. I do feel better taken care of now that Araceli is the manager. She's genuine. She'll have a conversation with you. I had a water leak in my room. They attempted to fix the leak themselves instead of getting an actual plumber. My whole Apartment flooded after their "fix

Neatherly has been the biggest blessing in my apartment search. She has gone and continues to go above and beyond with her customer service with her honesty, guidance, and determination. The team here are quick to respond and very patient with helping you find something you will like.

I have lived in Dallas all of my life. I’ve lived in quite a few apartment complexes. Lakeside has by far and the best! Not only the community of the neighbors, the most amazing maintenance team I’ve ever had in my entire life, but also the management recently has been phenomenal! Neatherly In the front office is not only very responsive, so helpful, but is constantly making positive changes that I’ve seen in the last year alone. From safety concerns to upgrade upgrades around the complex complexes, great communication, and very, very helpful. If you’re moving to Dallas and looking for an apartment community, Lakeside is the one to go to. I never reviews, and I am sincerely hoping the owners of the building see this simply so that they know their maintenance staff and their management team

I love my apartment it’s big and maintance comes the next day, the only thing I will say that I hate is the driving in the apartment complex it’s up a steep hill and dangerous around that huge hill at night in front of the leasing office and the towing here is crazy! United tows wanted me to pay to park for my vistor that comes by regularly. They towed my friend even though he parked in vistor parking and has been checked in before they are listens as frequent vistor, they have came over many times and never had an issue, I hate my friend is out 200$ because of united tow charging! They never have started charging and in this economy ain’t nobody going to pay to park somewhere just outrageous!!! I didn’t see a code or anything for me to not pay.
