Winter maintenance here is handled poorly overall, and it creates unnecessary safety and accessibility issues for tenants. Management went around posting notes telling residents to keep building doors shut so pipes wouldn’t freeze, but failed to do other basic preventative steps. There was no clear communication reminding tenants to drip faucets during extreme cold, no effort to check or replace furnace filters that are completely caked with dirt, and no follow-up to ensure units were properly prepared for freezing temperatures. Snow removal was delayed and inadequate. Plowing did not begin until Monday, a full day after the storm had ended, by which time cars were already getting stuck. This was a great place to look at. Mark was amazing!! Made this place feel super welcome snd inviting. He gave me and my friend a lot of information and definitely made it feel like a possible new home!

The office was really nice and helpful the apartment is done over really nice as well

I recently toured this apartment complex and first of all it’s extremely beautiful. I was blown away by the property and the interior of the unit. It’s extremely spacious and it already felt comfortable. I originally found this place on Zillow and the prices and available units are definitely not the same and there’s about a $200 difference for most units. They also didn’t have any tours for the cheaper priced apartment. They also don’t have in unit laundry which I feel like should be included due to the price of the units. They do have on-site laundry in a very nice facility but I’ve paid the same price at nicer and bigger apartments with many more amenities. A few months back I got threatened by another tenant who came pounding on my door, yelling. I’d never seen the guy before, office did nothing about it. Even told the property manager, she did nothing either. Now they have homeless people running around on the property, they keep saying “we'll take care of it” proceed to do nothing. One of them started threatening someone today. Told the office, still did nothing. Called the office, the new guy got rude. Started saying I should take care of it, not them. What a joke this place is, before moving here. Look at the reviews on the old name of these apartments too, Hartford On The Lake.
