Lakehouse on Wylie Apartments

I loved this property and came back a couple times to check it out but decided to apply for a townhome nearby instead. It was a tough decision since I loved them both. Thank you Janiah for all your help though! Email communication was quick and efficient which I appreciated as someone that was out of state. I loved the layout of the floor plan I was viewing that faced the lake but I wish more sunlight came into it. The base rent of $1850~ for ~1300sqft and overlooking a lake was a great deal. It’s in an amazing location with the lake and nature preserve right across the bridge and a shopping center about 6-8 mins north.

We lived in this apartment for a year, and it was a really nice experience! The place was comfortable and well maintained, and whenever we needed maintenance, they were quick and helpful. The gym was also great, clean and convenient. We had an amazing view from our apartment, which made every day feel special. My husband and I had our first year of living together here, and it’s a place full of wonderful memories for us. We’re really grateful for our time here!

I toured so many different apartment communities, but the moment I walked into the clubhouse at The Lakehouse, I instantly knew this was home. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything just felt right. Michelle truly made all the difference in our decision. From the very beginning, she made us feel comfortable and valued. She answered every single question I had (and trust me, there were a lot!) with patience and complete honesty. I never felt rushed or pressured just genuinely cared for. That kind of transparency meant so much to my family and made us confident that we were choosing the right place. I was really excited to check out this community because the photos made it seem like it was right on the water. However, when I drove around, I quickly realized it’s not actually on the water, and there was no lake deck or true water access like I expected. Another thing that stood out was the overall upkeep — the grounds and trash areas didn’t give a great first impression, which can say a lot about how a community is maintained. Because of that, I decided not to tour and went down the road to the Avalon Apartments

We had such an amazing experience at this community thanks to Janiah! From start to finish, she was incredibly welcoming, responsive, and genuinely helpful. She made our entire move-in process smooth and stress-free and truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt confident and taken care of.
