Take this review with a figurative grain of salt, as I have not lived year and have only toured the place. But apparently as of sometime in the last couple of weeks, the property is under new management! A week or so after initially requesting a tour, I was contacted by the new property manager who was in the process of rolling things over, and from then on they were very responsive. I showed up for my tour a little earlier than expected and the leasing agent was right there ready to show me around. As of my tour, the building appeared to be in very good condition and cleanliness, and seemed well-insulated and well-lit and the hallways were quiet. DO NOT MOVE HERE .READ CAREFULLY I spent one of the worst years of my life in this prison. The management is extremely unprofessional. They don't answer any calls. The trash is always piling up. They will charge you a lot of money ($150 per month plus your rent). My unit was so clean when I moved out and I was charged $200 for cleaning. And they charged me $400 for unit turnover. Finally, they not only steal your security deposit, they will charge you again. All the tenants are running away from here. And after a few years, there are still many empty units. If you are looking for the worst experience of your life, go to this place.

Lake City Lofts is absolutely abusive when it comes to fees. I left my unit in very good condition, yet they slapped me with a $200 "cleaning fee" without justification or evidence. On top of that, they continued to charge me for insurance even after I had already moved out — completely unacceptable and clearly a shady practice. They also included something called "unit turn labor" on my final bill with zero explanation. It feels like they just throw on random charges hoping tenants won’t notice or push back. If you value fairness, transparency, or basic respect — look elsewhere. This company prioritizes profit over integrity and treats tenants like ATMs on their way out. Stay far away.

I am a current lake city loft resident. I am giving my honest review of this place. living experience - This is a pretty quite building, you cant really hear the neighbors unless they are yelling or you are outside in the hall. Cleaning services came once or twice a week ,and maintained the shared spaces pretty clean. Laundry is a bit pricey. But despite there only being 2 washers, they were available for the most part if you wash during the week. Safety & location- i would say overall it is a pretty safe location. dispite there being a homeless encampent accross the street, they never seem to be in this area. I never got any packages stollen or saw anyone enter the building that was not allowed in here. My car never got broken into, and it was relatively easy to find parking unless i got

Much like other reviewers, I only got to schedule a tour with Lake City Lofts. By the morning of the appointment, the property manager was texting me with reasons to cancel. This came after going back and forth with some other agent (AI?) who tentatively verified my eligibility, confirmed the tour appointment, AND sent reminder and follow-up texts. Whoever the agent was, their messaging style was intrusive and overbearing; if I wasn't timely with a response, it sent more prompts--even though it was almost 10:00 PM. Pretty strange experience, and not one that I hope is repeated for others.
