Lake Beau Pre

Favorite place I lived at in Baton Rouge. The complex/grounds people kept the place nice and clean. The amenities are really nice: coming in a theatre, nice pool, billiards table, and more. Just be cautious of who or which property management company you lease from.

Great apartment complex! I've lived in/visited friends in most of the complexes near campus, and this one is by far my favorite. Very reasonably priced for something super close to campus (<10 minute drive). The community is gated, there is a gym, a pool, and plenty of parking. The apartments are spacious and perfect for college students. The people who live here are mostly LSU students, but the community is extremely calm and quiet!

Among the many problems with this complex I will only cover a few. The office staff is extremely unhelpful. There are enormous potholes throughout the complex. The trash bins are always overflowing. They refuse to take responsibility for any of these issues. UPDATE: they fixed some of the potholes at the front of the complex but don’t think about living in any unit besides the front row because you will pop a tire. Also, if you’re looking at the beautiful pool pictures it’s always disgusting so if you want to swim with bugs this is the place for you.
