Lago Vista Apartments

Living here has caused my fiance and I health, financial, emotional distress. Do NOT move here. The property is poorly maintained. When we moved in August of 2024, our apartment was out of A/C and the dishwasher was out of service. They only paint over issues and you’ll be lucky to have non damaged blinds that you have to pay for to replace. Our car port roof collapsed on our car in an ASSIGNED spot. I could not park anywhere else. We were forced to pay for the damages even though the car port roof was poorly maintained on top of $1500 rent. The staff is rude and are only employed to collect your money. I was rediagnosed with cancer while living there and that was overlooked.

If I could put zero stars I would. This is the worst place I have ever and probably will ever live, and I came from WARRENTON. Don't move here, the management could care less about you. Place is a dump inside and out. They will take weeks to reply for a maintenance issue but they do make sure to send out dozens of useless emails a week. Theres no way this place is anywhere near up to building code. The wooden deck is rotting off of the back of the building, theres been black mold in several locations, and our dishwasher and microwave were both non-functional when we moved in. Expect your apartment to look like it was last furnished around 1975, seriously, its like living in an abandoned building. They will fine you for any and everything. I can not wait to move out of here when my lease is done. The only reason for 1star is because where my actual apartment is located is in the back so there is NO NOISE and we are never bothered. However, outside of that, this complex charges you an astronomical amount and the apartments are old, dingey, and falling apart. I have been here since Sept 2024 and since then I have had over 20 maintenance calls from cracks in the ceilings (that they dont fix they just paint over) leaks in the roof, my microwave and garbage disposal going out, a/c not working, mold in the showers, and my bathroom sink leaking (they replaced the sink which didnt fix the leak and its been leaking ever since) and now the kitchen sink is leaking. Please sign else where! My “renovated” apartment doesn’t have controls for lights or fan. This updated apartment is older than I am. Mass ban on gym and pool, both pools of their not under repair always, I have submitted damage claims. It their incompetence and neglect will have me moving out. Staff at Lago Vista amazing but about that is trash

This is my 2nd time moving here and I chose to move back to Lago vista because of my great experience in 2016. The office staff is great especially Paige! I can't thank her enough for making the transition in and out so smooth. I am currently moving but it's definatly a home and peaceful in every way. I'm really going to miss it. Great management and reasonable price.
