Do Not Move Here – Ongoing Maintenance and Management Issues I strongly recommend avoiding La Jolla Apartments. I have lived here and spoken with many other residents, and we all experience the same ongoing problems. First, be prepared for AC units to stop working, especially during the summer—but honestly, issues happen year-round. The units are old, poorly maintained, and prone to leaking. When temperatures are high, this becomes a serious quality-of-life issue. Second, plumbing problems are constant. Water leaks are common, whether from the ceiling, walls, or floors. These leaks happen repeatedly and are not permanently fixed, only patched. Extremely clean, very quiet, grounds and facilities are highly maintained. Aileen the manager is very friendly and responsive. Items reported have been fixed immediately or same day by Tomas. I’m very pleased with every aspect of living here. I highly recommend La Jolla Villas apartments!
