Krewstown Park Apartments

I only been here two months and have been fighting an active roach infestation and mouse problem. Maintenance doesn’t do shit. I have put in a ticket every week to make them address the roach problem and they literally don’t come. I been seeing mouse droppings and told them to come and seal up any cracks or holes. I come home from work and they just gave me bullshit glue traps. The whole building is infested. Don’t come here unless you’re broke and desperate.

This apartment is relatively in a good neighborhood, Northeast Philly. As a past resident I never had major issues. Although it does not mean it was all good. PROs: - Rent was relatively affordable. ~$800 - Parking space is plentiful. - Good neighborhood. CONs - No amenities were included (water, gas, electricity). - Office is not on site. -Common issues: The complex is unfortunately poorly maintained (as of 2019), and needs lots of renovations and up keep. The hallways were dirty, heater/ thermostat problems, pest problem (mostly mice), garbage disposal areas not well kept clean, and many neighbors have no social etiquettes and/or have drug abuse. I had an extremely disappointing experience applying to Krewstown Park Apartments. The manager, Jon, was unprofessional, rude, and unwilling to assist throughout the process. Their website’s payment page had errors, which I reported with video evidence, yet they initially blamed me, claiming no one else faced this issue. Only after persistent follow-ups did they attempt to help, but they never acknowledged their fault. Despite earning over three times the monthly rent and having a credit score above 770, they required a co-signer. I have been living here since 2011. No place is perfect so in all fairness it is not for everyone . My son was able to walk to school without problems. Apartments take team work . We were all informed not to have shopping carts left on the grounds. The office gives advice and tries to inform you on how to maintain the cleanliness. From what I know ,some were clogging the drains with trash. Liss Property stays consistent with getting the drain serviced. They were also lenient with me when I fell behind on my rent.
