Kensington by True Homes

We currently live in Kensington by True Homes and this review is to allow others to know what to expect before buying in here. Had we known of the issues beforehand, we certainly wouldn’t have bought from True Homes! When we purchased our lot, we originally wanted the corner lot beside of it, we were told it’s not available that it is for “staging”, well we rode up 2 weeks after we purchased our lot and the lot had been sold (lie #1). We were also told there would be shrubbery & or trees placed around the retention pond, has not happened (lie #2); others were told this as well. Yet they somehow placed trees & shrubbery next to the woods and we have also seen shrubs and trees thrown away in the trash dumpsters. We were told that there would be a buffer between us and the other homes being b

I was considering building in this neighborhood but after riding through and speaking with some of the residents, I have re-considered. They voiced concerns about how the sales people have lied to them about various things, one being how close the walking trail was behind their home and others are having problems trying to get items fixed in their "new" homes that are supposedly under the true homes warranty. They actually warned me to stay away. Therefore I have reconsidered and will look elsewhere.

New home being built. Did not see a playground or swimming area for residents. But the house design are ok. They look good for first time buyers.
