Bought a flipped house from them and have had to fix so many problems in less than a year. They also have given themselves multiple 5 star reviews, so their “rating” on Google is a skewed rating. Do not work with them unless you plan to redo all of their work. UPDATE, 11/2022: still have lots of problems with plumbing, electrical and more. Will likely need to spend thousands of dollars to repair both bathrooms that were “renovated”. The company responded to say they weren’t the contractor but Kay & Jay is listed on one of the permits requested for work done and their website / social media mentions renovations so that seems inaccurate.

The property 132 Risdon Street, Mt. Holly is managed very poorly. Tenants disrespect this property 24/7 and Kay & Jay ignore requests to clean it up and handle their tenants. Trash is just one of the ongoing issues!! Currently trash has been out for a month on the street but not the curb so waste management WILL NOT pick it up. The recycle container is half full with recycle and half full with trash. The code enforcement is involved and yet it still remains. They put it out whenever they feel like it not on scheduled pick up days. There are two other sister bldgs identical to this one in Mt. Holly that clearly have property management that cares. Not only do they screen their tenants the property’s are immaculate. This is unacceptable.

Purchased a house that K & J did the flip on as well as represented the seller. Bathroom leaked first month, hot water heater went the first 6 months, roof not capped properly (6 squirrels living in rafters). Horrible Horrible Experience. Owner/Broker was absolutely pompass and horrible to our realtor. Would not recomm nd this company to anyone.

Travis is a scam artist. He charges you for services and then disappears without completing his end of the bargain. We have sent him multiple messages, countless phone calls, emails, called his realty office and left messages with Marie, our contractor showed up to his business and he is nowhere to be found. We had to file a complaint with the better business bureau. Never do business with anyone associated with Travis Vu.

Would not recommend. I bought my house through them which was flipped by them, as well as, sold through them. They are not upfront that they have a vested interest when selling the property, which is illegal. They also lied about the property having multiple offers to get more money (this was in 2019). Their construction work is subpar, at best, and I spent thousands of dollars repairing faulty work. They are a nightmare to work with and would steer clear of any property they are doing construction work on and/or selling.
