Rented from them a few years ago. Had to pay a double security deposit. During my time here, I dealt with constant bugs inside my house, no matter what i’d wake up every morning to tons of dead rollie pollie bugs everywhere! During the summer there was a really bad wasp infestation in the duplex and it took forever for someone to come out and half ass it. Upon signing my lease I was never informed that cutting grass was my job, That was a constant issue. It would take forever to hear back about all the issues going on . I fell on hard times and ultimately lost the place, Joy told me my double security deposit would have went towards the money owed. Know your rights! I waited to write this for fear my old roommates might experience retaliation. These people are snakes! I'm proud to say this company never successfully pulled one over me, but my God did they try! Anytime they actually checked with their legal team, they're legal team would tell them that I was correct. Often when I sent in a maintenance request about something that by law they were required to fix, they told me that they would have to get permission from the owner. I would have to remind them that they have to get certain things fixed regardless of what the owner had to say and that they would need to do so by the time the law allotted. They also nearly approved a roommate based off of MY credit score without my knowledge or consent. Luckily, they're legal team caught

If there was a rating worse than one star, I would give it. If you are working with this company, forget about your deposit because they will not pay it back. There were already bugs in the house when we moved in, and they were still there when we left. They charged us more than $500 for this. There were scratches behind the cabinet, and they charged us for that as well. They deducted almost the entire deposit. Do not rent a house from them.

Rented from them for 4 years. They were slow when it came to maintenance requests and did poor jobs correcting anything. We had mold growing in our bathrooms, they painted over it, then were unprofessional when we moved out and broke our lease due to the mold growing back. We also had termites in the house and eating away at the mailbox, which they tried to charge us for. Their blinds broke, the shelves in the fridge were glued on and broke, and again they attempted to charge us for that. When we move din they promised lawn care, then took it away and sent out a mass passive-aggressive notice to the community that we would be charged emergency lawn care services for a service they took away without pre-warning. The message from management was; "Wow. So you just up and left regardless. Ok

The place I stayed in was full of bugs. They told me pest control was my responsibility. I could never get rid of the bugs, no matter what I did. And when I moved out, they charged me for pest control and refused to return my deposit. If you’d like to keep bugs as pets and donate your deposit to them, choose this company. Otherwise, stay away.
