Would not recommend to anyone looking for an affordable apartment complex. The first week I moved in, I discovered caulk was poured down the drain which wrecked my dishwasher and I had to get a maintenance order. In December, maintenance was doing work on plumbing/showers in the apartment complex and when I came home from work, all the shelving in my bathroom was removed, a giant hole was cut into the wall where the pipes where, my shower disassembled and unusable. So I had no way to shower for my next day of work. I was never notified that maintenance workers would be leaving my apartment without cleaning up or completing their work. June West completely scammed me. I was promised a two-bedroom, paid the deposit, and was tricked into a one-bedroom instead with no option to change the day they promised to give me the keys. The unit was under the gym (worse than upstairs neighbors) , my toilet barely worked for months, the shower water had sulfur that stained my jewelry, and I got stuck paying two electric bills one from the apartment and another for Austin energy, because they don’t know what’s going on. Constant staff turnover and clueless management make everything worse. Avoid this place.

I called june west and got approved within a week! I gave a $200 deposit and they prorated my rent since I moved in in the middle of a month so my actual rent for the first month was about $546 and then the regular rent for every other month is $949 for my studio size apartment. Very nice and no one has lived in this unit before me. Jamie was very kind and helpful.

Before today, Jamie, the manager, would never answer my phone calls and NEVER called me back regarding my application, after I filled out all of the necessary paperwork AND payed a sizable DEPOSIT. Over many months, I NEVER got a call from her or this company approving or denying my application. Plus they are impossible to get a hold of when I called them. But FINALLY today I was able to reach her on the phone and she rudely informs me I will NOT be getting my deposit back while lying that she tried calling me regarding this matter. I NEVER received a call from her and my iphone electronic call history proves this fact. I’m sure this has happened to multiple other people at June West. Do not get scammed by Jamie and this company! Shame on them! And I will investigate if this is ac
