Joyland Management

I’ve been living at Lorimer House for a year now. The property management company, Joyland is absolutely terrible to deal with. After one year, raises the rent, and asks for the difference of the rent increase, in the security deposit as well (have not had this happen until living at this property). No 24 hour doorman, which doesn’t sound like a problem, everyone from the neighborhood enters our building to access our amenities such as the rooftop or gym. Can’t even use the gym in the building because it’s overcrowded with people who don’t live in the building or seriously want to workout, and are just there to have fun. Most of the time, packages just end up dumped anywhere since the deliverers can’t access the package room if the doorman isn’t there. We are supposed to have Package Conci

Do NOT move-in to any property under this management. In all of my military service my deployment barracks were in better condition than the apartment they gave me. Mold, water damage, dirty floors, bugs, poor customer service, and so much more just to scratch the surface. Pay the extra money to go elsewhere. They are not welcoming and have terrible customer service. I even paid for a parking spot and do not have access to the garage. I regret moving in and now I’m trapped in a lease. I am so disappointed on how complaints are being handled and this has left a long lasting bad impression. No matter who you email or call they don’t pretend to care and the complaints go no where. Joyland Management has been an exceptional apartment rental management company! From the moment I moved in, their team has been responsive, professional, and genuinely caring. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, the staff is always approachable, and they keep the property in excellent condition. Do not use this company. The whole year I rented from them was awful. So many issues with my apartment such as AC/heat not working and they didn’t care. Definitely find another company to rent through. They also took over 4 months for my security deposit.

Joyland is lucky to have Hugo, he resolves issues quickly and communicates clearly. Excellent service!
