Worst people ever to rent from. All was well when it was supreme builders, but everything went down the drain when joseph property took over. Randomly started being charged for water, sewer, garbage and countless other things without telling us. They expect you to have renters insurance made for million dollar mansions. And if you don't that's another charge they tack on the rent. They take forever to address any maintenance you ask help for. Then they just slap a band aid on it and hope for the best. Constantly sent us threatening letters for no apparent reason to evict us. Had the police sent to our building for no reason, stating the smell of illegal substances, even when nobody was even there. I live at Greenfield Park Apartments. Our unit is beautiful and we live the space. However, there are concerns. First of all, our property caretaker smells like cigarettes all the time and he calls me sweetheart, which makes me feel very uncomfortable. Secondly, we received our lease renewal. And I am slow about signing these things. But all communication indicated that we had until the 30th to sign it. On the 29th, we get an email that we have not signed and are being converted to a month to month lease when our lease ends. This causes me to have a massive panic attack. I sign the lease renewal in a panic, and we call them to learn we really did have until the 30th. Lived at one of their buildings for 3 years. Slumlord management, the maintenance people are the only ones who care about anything there. Literally threatened by a tenant with a gun and they beat on our door with it because our 50 pound dog barked at them from inside the apartment. Management and police did nothing, this is also after hundreds of break ins for package stealing and begging management for security cameras which weee never installed. Management offered for us to be homeless (leave the lease early unexpectedly) and later rescinded that offer, all the while never evicting the guy with a gun or taking security measures OR NOTIFYING OTHER TENANTS. Joseph property took over the building I've been living in for 7 years. Not only did they increase my rent by more than double what it's increased all these years, we are now responsible for numerous bills we never had to pay before (heat, trash, water, etc). They did not make us aware they would be making these changes until our lease renewal, with no time to find a new place to live so we were stuck accepting these ridiculous changes.

Have not been helpful with our issues. Randomly add charges to rent. Office / building managers are nice but Joesph properties has been beating around the bush with us constantly.
