Since 2014, I've lived at 1233 N Courthouse Rd in apartments 207 and 108. Upon the arrival of the new manager, they changed the terms of my contract month to month without my request. They began to not immediately respond to apartment repairs, such as a leak I had from the upper floor where they opened the bathroom ceiling and left me without bathroom service. I had to go to a hotel, and they didn't they did not cover these costs. Way of communicating lacks manners, respect, and empathy for tenants. I asked to paint the apartment, which was over 5 years old, but they didn't do it either. The kitchen floor, since I moved into the apartment, was stained and looked very ugly. I have lived in one of their Arlington units for over 1.5 years. JA has been a fantastic property manager. They provide clear communication, provide thorough upkeep of their properties, and the maintenance team is incredibly responsive to issues that arise within the apartment. Huge shout out to the full team. Very glad to have found this place!

Wakefield Manor is such a gem! I stayed here for about a year and a half in a 1 BR while working in downtown DC before moving out of state for a new job, and cannot thank the management team enough for the great experience. Units: SO spacious, bright, airy, and clean. Especially considering the super reasonable rent, you get so many windows and square footage while still being close to public transit and grocery stores etc. Every room in my 1 bedroom apartment had at least one window. The floors are a beautiful hard wood, and the walls are insulated well - I never heard my neighbors nor had any noise complaints. Management: Maintenance was always exceedingly responsive. I have been living at Johnson Associates since late June of 2025, and I cannot get enough of how the property management staff—Nathan, Grace, and the maintenance crew — have been very attentive, caring , and responsive to any issues or inquiries I have had regarding my apartment. I was thinking to rent from these people late last year until I spoke and corresponded in writing with one Nathan, apparently the manager of this property. This guy is the most disrespectful and unprofessional individual I have ever come across with. I confronted him with pictures, receipts and electronic correspondence by a former tenant, who shared the reality of this place with me. I witness myself the precarious conditions my friend was living under and I obviously concluded to tun away from this potential disaster. Potential tenants beware of what lays behind the false promises and empty words. Be smart and avoid a place where you will be ultimately insulted and discriminated against. What this individual claims as necessary termination bla, bla, bla is nothing but a constructive evic
