People have a hard time surviving as it is. We have a responsibility to each other as human beings to be considerate and careful with each other —even in our jobs even when we need money. If you cannot ensure people’s safety and meet what’s required of you on your end — you need a different job of responsibilities you can meet. This neglect sounds illegal. There is no damn excuses to be letting mold grow and letting the place fall apart then charging someone for trying to fix it bc you could not. No one is being overly sensitive, dude isn’t sensitive at all it apears.

I had rented a condo from him for 6yrs. Truly the worst rental experience I've had in 35 years of renting. He's unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, argumentative, confrontational and a bully. Think long and hard before doing business with him.

I received a phone call this morning from JLK Real Estate from a man named Joel asking for a quote from our business. I gave Joel a rough estimate of what our services would cost he laughed and started with his racial slurs of how he can go get some no hablos to do the job and was very degrading. Please be aware when conducting business with this individual. Thank you .

Joel, the owner was very rude, and short, not a friendly bonr in that man. He posted about a very nice new fixtures, cabinets, ect..it looked homeless people had been living there for months!!!He said the apartment was dirty, but he would discount the move in if me and if I was willing to clean it, when I saw that disgusting unit, I wanted to cry, it would have taken me a month just to get it semi livable. Very very disappointing!

I was looking at a condo for this guy and in every interaction with him he was pushy and irritated and I hated talking to him. When I tried saying something I feel like the guy wasn't listening to my needs and only interested in what was best for him. I took a look at one of the condos he has listed on his website and I ended up not taking it and the biggest reason was because I don't want to deal with this guy and his unwillingness to be helpful in case something would come up once I was moved in and I needed something. That and the place was dirty and in pretty bad condition - the carpet was completely filthy and the place was rather old, despite it being in central Scottsdale. Also, just look at how he refers to people who have left reviews on here as "those two idiots" - classless.
