2112 Ave P is definitely the worst apartment I've ever lived at in my entire life. 1. NOISE. Prepare to never have a moment of peace ever again. This apartment has the thinnest walls known to man so it's like everyone on your floor is your roommate. I hear everyone's conversations, their children screaming (and them verbally abusing their children as well) and one of my neighbors has a dog that barks for 5 - 8 hours straight if he's left alone. So it's yelling, screaming and barking throughout the day time and then my upstairs neighbors love to have music going until 3am, constantly moving furniture and dropping items which echoes throughout my apartment due to the hardwood floors. 2112 Ave P. Is the most disgusting building, the management company Brani, Keisha, Shmily are horrible to deal with. All they care about is money money money. They FAILED to provide window guards for my child and had the I never told them that I’m moving in with my child. When I had my interview with Keisha, She asked me who will be living in the apartment and I told her it will be me and my daughter. REPAIRS- They have never repaired anything From the previous tenant. They left a bunk bed for me to take apart. I have asked them to install window guards for me multiple times and they can only accommodate when I am not available. Noise- The noise in this building is horrible. You hear people, yelling, kids, playing video games and yelling on top of their lungs. My child refuses to sleep

I have nothing but kind words and praise for the team at JIH. Brany and Kisha were both great in helping me deal with roommate issues which were none of their own. They were always responsive and I never had any issues with the actual apartment and worked with me rather than a normal tenant / landlord relationship and went straight to late fees and evictions. They made it possible for me to get back on track and they were super helpful every step of the way. I plan on moving into another one of their apartments, and hope to keep this relationship for a long time.

1515 Park Place: Outside of the unreliable one elevator and exorbitant rent prices…BEWARE OF DECEPTIVE PRACTICES WHEN YOU MOVE OUT REGARDING SECURITY DEPOSITS!!! They will ask you if you want to repaint or would like it done by management. What they (Shimly) won’t tell you that they withhold a portion of your deposit for this. According to NY Landlord Tenant laws they can not charge for basic turnovers with no damage! 🤬

I have been living here going on 3 years and JIH is by far the best landlord I have dealt with, the staff is excellent! I have mostly dealt with brany who is an absolute pleasure to work with she is very nice , understanding and professional. Once a repair ticket is put in it is dealt with promptly. Ms Westbrook is also very helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend JIH for your next landlord
