Brielle Ballantine with JG Real Estate helped us find an awesome home to rent in the Fishtown/Northern Liberties area. She was so easy to work with. JG has a great system for repairs and managing our property. They've completed all the work we've requested on the home and are on top of maintenance needs as they come up. All of my issues have been solved in a timely manner and it's good to know they have my back!

DO NOT RENT from this company. This company only sees their tenants as a mean of income. They're in the business of appeasing landlords and generating a profit for both them and the company. Tenants are just a means to an end. Their leasing terms are predatory (a reasonable rent but then every year an increase of at MINIMUM 3 percent), requirements for occupancy are ridiculous (I needed a cosigner when I resigned my lease because "my income was too low" I make $70k), and treat you as if you're a criminal if you try to negotiate or have a conversation about the property/terms (I had an emergency and needed to vacate. When I discussed the options to terminate my lease I was told "You cannot terminate your lease early " when I pushed back and gave a generous offer I was met with rude tones a

JG's Construction Division provided the best experience I have ever had with a major home repair and reconstruction project. The work was done to the highest standards, everyone who came was highly professional, extremely courteous, helpful, considerate, and very unobtrusive. John is an outstanding manager, communicator and coordinator. He always provided advance notice of every day's plans, and accommodated my schedule as needed. Donnie, Manny and Miguel were extremely reliable, considerate and hard-working, and the quality of the work was excellent. There was even a cleaning crew to make sure everything was left neat and tidy. Thank you all!

Stay far, far away from JG Real Estate. In the almost 2 years that they managed my apartment building, I was without working A/C or heat for 115 days between the months of December and April. Do that math! That's 16 weeks! 4 MONTHS in winter with no heat!! It happened last year, and with the exception of a few days here and there, I had no working heat or A/C from 12/30/2024-04/23/2025. Now, this year, it broke AGAIN, and once again, I've not had any working heat since February 14, with no communication about when it will be fixed, just saying the vendor is "waiting on a part" and they don't have an ETA. Thank god management changed. I hope it's better. But STAY AWAY. For your safety and sanity.

I currently live in Fishtown in a property that used to be managed by JG Realty and I can say I genuinely miss how they maintained the building. I’ve been here going on 4 years and now on the third property management group and I can honestly say I’m at a loss for words. JG used to maintain a great cleaning team and even a gardener to care for our courtyard! Ever since they left the building has been painted odds colors on the inside, the garden has since died and remains dead, there are mystery stains on carpets - no cleaning people come, they’ll let just about anyone move in here and it’s turned into a frat house with all the noise. BRING JG REALTY BACK to 1416 Frankford Ave!!
