I have lived at Jefferson School apts since 2016 with convenient access to freeway, after repeated requests I post here in hopes I may get some attention and repairs. the newest management (Hanna and Angie) have been very slow responding to maintenance issues, the lawn sprinklers on the south side have not all worked all summer and the lawn is now dead, with the recent rain leaving mud to track into my apartment, my kitchen light fixture cover has been broken since maintenance replaced tubes months ago, A/C operation is intermittent and fan motor needs to be tapped on to start, missing ceiling in water heater closet enables view to floor above me. Terrible property to live at. I moved in here about six years ago and I’ve never had issues or complaints Things used to get fixed all the time now housing has taken over and I have nothing but complaints since they took it over from the previous owners place is always dirty they take forever to fix anything and they don’t do any background checks on the newcomers when I’m coming home from work at night there are people sleeping on the stairs or doing drugs I get scared for the children in my apartments to be playing outside because you’ve never know what they may come across the people above me have traffic all night in an out and its people from off the street. I’ve told the office and they have not done anything about it. Save your pennies if you can and rent with a better property.

Kenna, the new apartment complex manager, has been a breath of fresh air for our community. Her dedication to ensuring residents are well taken care of is truly commendable. She goes above and beyond, often working extra hours to address any concerns promptly. Kenna is regularly seen around the complex, not just assessing the property but also actively picking up trash and maintaining the cleanliness of our surroundings. When both my heater and water heater went out, Kenna was incredibly supportive. She maintained regular communication with me about the status of the repairs and coordinated efficiently with the maintenance team to ensure the issues were resolved quickly. My review was removed, so I'm reposting. Avoid this place like the plague. JSA is partially owned by the SLC Housing Authority, which is a huge conflict of interest. My mother suffered two permanently disabling injuries due to property negligence (we had an expert safety executive investigate). That was two years ago and they're completely ignoring my mother and her attorney. The HA and JSA are arrogant. They prey on the less fortunate. They are bullies, and if you're not tough, they will walk over you. Jo, the 'mananger' here, is a disaster. She is very superficial and if you need nothing from her, she can be very nice. Her true colors are revealed when you have a need or a complaint. There are mutliple complaints before HUD right now that include Jo, RPM, HA, and JSA.

The NEW manager KENNA has only been here since January 1st 2025 and had an enormous number of major problems to handle and get resolved, she has gone up and above to get the problems and issues resolved. She is dedicated and determined to give the residents here the best possible quality of living she can. She is on the grounds as well as in the office and knows what is happening around the complex.
