My wife and I had an incredible experience living at the James Marquis. Christian was always very responsive and super helpful whenever help was needed. The doorman are very friendly and always willing to give. A helping hand. Maintanence and Mike were always readily available and would fix any issues within an hour. Everyone was very friendly and the building was always spotless. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice with plenty of things to do, a ton of restaurants and Central Park is 1 min away. I highly recommend living at James Marquis and if it weren’t for the birth of our first child, we would have continued living here.

This has been an amazing place to live! We're moving only because we need more space, otherwise, we wouldn't leave. The building is always spotless, the community is friendly, and the two fast elevators are super convenient. Maintenance requests through the app are handled promptly, and the apartments are bright and filled with natural light. Plus, the Amazon lockers are a huge time-saver. We absolutely loved our time here!

Loved my stay at the UWS! My early runs in the park were amazing. Called James Marquis my home for over a year. Recently, I relocated for work purposes. Great things about the building: doorman staff made me feel safe and at home, maintenance department is well run and helped me to maintain my apartment in excellent condition. Highly recommend!!

I wish I could give zero stars. This is the worst rental experience of my life. I moved in here of March 2022 had several issues from the start. The worst was the toxic mold in my HVAC units. The super of the building tried to convince me that it was mildew. However, I took my own professional swab test that was sent out to the lab and the report came back with the two types of mold that caused serious illness from which I suffered for four months. The HVAC sleeves were cleaned and tested again and showed a little bit of mold. To add insult to injury until I got the results of the mold test back and I was withholding my rent and the property manager knew this because I disclosed it in an email and I got a letter of arrears.
